Default farming with mesmer

hey guys
i was just reading the 130hp dervish
and i just thought. how about 55 mesmer/dervish that uses backfire to kill off casting bosses.

one particular boss come to mind was the elementalist boss. i tried to kill it, but he was using SF all the time, so i had no chance to kill it.
i thought if i lower my health to 55 hp, then cast backfire on him, you think i can take him down?

other skills would be the same as 130HP dervish i guess, but more variery for the damage dealing.
for warrior boss, empathy maybe?

is there a mezmer or dervish skill that reduces dmg to you to a maximum of 10%

If not, then having 55 health isn't beneficial to you, you will be killed in less than one hit from any lvl 20 + enemy.

The only way for 55hp builds to work is with monk as either primary or secondary profession. You need Protective Spirit for it to work, as Jegred2 was alluding to.

It is possible with a Me/mo, though.. If there's no enchant removal, that is.

Something like:

Protective spirit, healing breeze, Echo, Backfire, Mending, Balthazar's spirit, Essence bond.. and then I'd probably take Restfull breeze along if the guy spams burning.

Not all bosses are stupid enough to kill themselves by casting through backfire, though. Stonewrath in factions for example

Hrm. Which boss is this? I'm a nub in terms of NF/Factions but if your main problem is Searing Flames being spammed wouldn't the easiest thing be to just Diversion it?
